, member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Kuran Fathi, on Sunday, accused the Democratic Party of trying to create greater problems for the region with the center, indicating that the Democratic Party wants to control the region’s capabilities and place it in major problems with the center’s government.
Fathi said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, “The National Union agrees with the political decisions of the central government at a time when the Democratic Party is trying to be the sole controller of the capabilities of the Kurdistan region and its people.”
He added, "The statements of the regional government spokesman put Kurdistan in real problems and a political impasse with the central government."
He pointed out that "the Democratic Party wants to control the region's capabilities and put it in major problems with the central government, which has caused many problems for the region with Baghdad."
He pointed out that "Kurdish citizens and employees and all political forces in the region support solutions with the central government, and that the localization of salaries in Baghdad is the most effective solution for Kurdish employees and citizens in the region."
