    The Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, on Saturday, for the college of Iraq from animal products for 2016 needed, as shown that frozen chicken production ratios of 34% of the annual need for the production of red meat and frozen amounted to 76% of the actual requirement, emphasized that these percentages change depending oncircumstances.   a spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture Hamid Nayef said in an interview to the (long -Presse) that " the overall need for Iraq from animal products for 2016 of frozen chicken amounting to 250,000 tons while domestic production amounted to 84,000 tons , " noting that " the quantity to be imported from frozen chicken of 166 000 tons ratio, which means that domestic production ratio of 34%. " Nayef said that" Iraq 's production proportion of table eggs of 14% which produces 630 million eggs a year, with a total itneeded 4,640 million eggs , "explaining that" the quantity to be imported annually 4010 million eggs. " He pointed Nayef that" Iraq produces annually 907 thousand tons of milk and dairy products that can cover 19% of its requirement of $ 4843 thousand tons, while the quantity to be imported 3936 tons. " among Nayef" Thecountry imported 60,000 tonnes per year of red and frozen meat to cover the needs amounting to 250,000 tons , "noting that" the amount of domestic production of these materials amounted to 190,000 tons ,representing 76% of the total need , "explaining that" the need for Iraq of fish of 150 thousand tons, while producing 63 000 tons , representing 42% of the total it needed , "noting that the country is " imported 87,000 tons to meet the needs of the fish. " said Nayef said" these figures are variable depending on the conditions that can not predict the occurrence Kalomrad and others, which contribute to change the equation, but these figures are in natural conditions and when the availability of the conditions may improve and reach in some self-sufficiency , "stressing that" the ministry and within its plans to increase the production of livestock products are trying to get up and reach total , self - sufficiency, especially in the field of fish. " the Ministry of Agriculture announced Tuesday ( July 5, 2016), the launch of the loans provided by the Central Bank of Iraq by the ACB worth trillion and 650 billion dinars. the cabinet was launched in (31st May 2016), theprogram electronic industrial, agricultural and residential loans in accordance with the loan form of $ 6.5 trillion dinars.
