    He confirmed the US ambassador in Baghdad Douglas Silliman Thursday that the arrival of President-elect Donald Trump to power in the United States, will not change US policies towards Iraq.
    He said in a press statement that he does not expect significant changes in the United States for the region and Iraq policy, he said, adding that America will continue to support democracy and economic growth in Iraq. 
    It Qayyarah base south of Mosul, Major Christoph Parker confirmed, one of the speakers US military spokesman that the presidential election results will not affect the mission of US forces in Iraq. "In relation to the Middle East and Iraq, I do not expect to get a big change."
    "When I see the soldiers on the ground, I understand that the mission has not changed, even if I asked them what they were doing two weeks ago, the answer would be one, we were doing the same thing."
