    It revealed the Investment Committee and the Council of Wasit, on Saturday, the desire of the threshold Hosseinieh oil refinery investment to maintain, (180 km southeast of Baghdad), through one of its cooperation with the other French, indicating that the refinery capacity will be 150 thousand barrels per day.

    He Zamili, that "the local government will consider the offer in preparation for a decision if final approval to the implementation of the refinery by the Federal Ministry of Oil," noting that "the project will contribute in the event of approval to move the economic wheel in the province and provide hundreds of jobs for their children in various disciplines."
    Announced Wasit in the management, (the ninth of January 2017 the present), the desire of Chinese companies to establish oil refinery investment to maintain, while showed that the oil ministry supported the project, which has been invited to accelerate the contractual procedures to begin implementation.
    The Energy Committee in the Wasit Provincial Council, had announced (the twentieth of September, the last in 2016), the approval of the Ministry of Oil to build an oil refinery in the province, while shown that a committee of oil experts began preparing a study for the refinery and determine the location, he confirmed that Shell has made an offer to create and possibly be the luckiest among other companies to implement it.
