(IraqiNews.com) A police source revealed that the house of the Head of Baghdad Investment Commission was attacked by armed men, in eastern the province, Alusmaria News reported on Thursday.
The source said, “Unidentified gunmen attacked, at dawn today, the house of Baghdad Investment Commission’s Head, Shaker al-Zamili, in the area of Hayy al-Ghadeer, in eastern Baghdad.”
“The attack was foiled, and the attackers were forces to flee,” the source explained.
“The attack resulted in the wounding of Zamili’s son, and he was transferred to a nearby hospital to receive the needed treatment,” the source added on condition of anonymity.
Noteworthy, the house of Baghdad Investment Commission, Shaker al-Zamili was previously attacked by an IED in 31 August 2016, without suffering any losses.
