[ltr]Dozens of contractors, Sunday, in central Baghdad, demanding their financial dues in arrears for more than two years.[/ltr]
[ltr]A reporter / balances News /, said that "dozens of contractors came out this morning, a demonstration in front of the Liberty Square near the Green Zone (downtown), demanding their financial dues in arrears for more than two years."[/ltr]
[ltr]The reporter, said that "the demonstrators demanded to accelerate the launch," noting that "the demonstrators have confirmed the occurrence of suicides among the Contractors segment due to their exposure to the bankruptcy and poverty and their inability to repay their debts."[/ltr]
[ltr]He pointed out, our correspondent, that "Contractors have threatened to carry out an open sit-in in the event of failure to respond to their demands."[/ltr]
