    Hundreds of farmers in Wasit province, on Monday, before the Ahdab oil field in order to claim the financial dues for marketing wheat and barley for the past two seasons, and in accusing the central government and the Finance Ministry to "procrastination and lack of credibility", threatened to behead through the field and block access in the coming days in the absence of responding to their demands and find quick solutions to save them. 
    he said Falah Mohammed Suwaidan in an interview with (long - Presse), said that "hundreds of peasants in Wasit came out today (yesterday), a peaceful demonstration in front of the entrance Ahdab oil field to claim the financial dues for marketing wheat and barley for the past two seasons. " 
    He Sowaidan, that" the purpose of choosing a place to demonstrate near the Ahdab oil field management of the fact that field financed a large part of the imports of the Iraqi treasury is supposed to get the peasants ofWasit on financial dues from this field ", threatening to " get out the largest demonstration within the past few days and resort to cutting the road into the field and do not allow access to it in case of failure to respond to our demands and ensure the payment of the sums. " 
    for his part , Al - Falah Abbas Hashem Mahdi said in an interview with (long - Presse)," the peasants Mkplon indebted large financial commitments and therefore they are demanding their legitimate right he accessing those benefits in order to be moving in the agricultural process. " 
    promised Mahdi, that" the lack of financial dues to them is disregard for their clear and neglected by thegovernment for such a wide range and thus it warns that there is no growing season in the province over thenext year , "accusing the Ministry of Finance to "procrastination and lack of credibility with them." 
    Several hundred farmers in Wasit province, on Monday, (25 July 2016), to claim the amount of marketing for the past two seasons, and accused the Ministry of Agriculture as "failure", as warned of a conspiracy aimed at the agricultural sector Agricultural Committee in the Wasit Provincial Council expressed its absolute solidarity with the peasants and their quest to raise their demands to the Prime Minister. 
    the Committee on Agriculture and water and marsh in the House of Representatives, announced on Thursday, the (28 July 2016), House of Representatives approved the request to host the Prime Minister Haider al -Abadi, a number of ministers to discuss the financial benefits to farmers, as pointed out that the Council will set a date hosting in the coming days. 
    The Wasit province had marketed during the growing season last approximately 800 thousand tons of wheat and barley crops.
