Kirkuk/ Iraq TradeLink: Turkmen representatives held a meeting here to discuss the decision of
Kirkuk Governor to raise the Kurdish flag on the governmental buildings.
The Governor threatened to "punish" anyone who does not abide by this order.
The Turkmen, in a statement, announced their "complete rejection" of this order because its "contradicts the Iraqi constitution and prevailing laws".
"This order will create a state of strife among the components of the province", the statement added.
The representatives called to reject this order, calling Premier Haidar al-Ibadi to express his stand on this matter.
