The Iraqi Bank announces its readiness to activate the investment movement in Basra
The Iraqi Trade Bank announced on Monday its readiness to activate the investment movement in Basra and work together with the local government of Basra through the financing of projects in the province.
"The bank has an interest in supporting the province through the exploitation of natural resources and ports," said Faisal Wissam al-Hims, director of the bank's administration, during his visit to Basra and his meeting with deputy chairman Waleed Kitan.
For his part, Deputy Chairman of the provincial council Walid Kitan said that 'was discussed on how to benefit from the Commercial Bank being one of the first banks in Iraq and had wide relations and support from international banks.
He pointed out that the two parties reached new ideas and visions that will be translated into reality during the coming period.
