Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The new Provincial Council of Anbar province nominated the member of Hal bloc, Ahmed Thiyab, as its new Governor and the member of the Iraqiya bloc, headed by the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, as the new PC Chairman.
A source from Anbar PC stated to IraqiNews.com “The PC held its session on Wednesday with the absence of Abiron Coalition, headed by the former Governor, which involves 10 seats within Anbar PC.”
“The winning members conducted the oath before voting on the posts,” the source concluded.
