Al-Hashd al-Shaabi bids farewell to its youngest martyr

Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Several Iraqis published photos on social media platforms of a young boy, known as Ali al-Kaabi, who is claimed to be the youngest martyr among the ranks of al-Hashd al-Shaabi militia.

Meanwhile, activists revealed that al-Kaabi was killed, along with his father, while they were providing logistic aid to security forces and al-Hashd al-Shaabi militia in the city of Mosul, without giving any further information.

Al-Hashd al-Shaabi, also known as Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) is considered one of the largest militias in Iraq. It was established in 2014, and in late 2016, the Iraqi parliament recognized the militia as a national armed force.
