Less than one million Christians in Iraq now, Bloc

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Christian Warka' Parliamentary Bloc disclosed that the number of Christians in Iraq reached to less than one million, while this figure before 2003 was more than two millions.
Chairman of the Bloc, Joseph Slaiwa, in a TV interview charged the federal and Kurdish governments of "selling the Christians".
He pointed that when the Iraqi forces withdraw before Da'ish (ISIS) organization, the Kurdish Peshmarga forces withdrew also from Nineveh Plateau and left the region for Da'ish, where the people were displaced, killed and robbed.
