    BAGHDAD (Reuters) -

    It revealed media reports of disagreement between officials in the White House and the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), on the expansion of US military activity in Syria.

    The newspaper "forign Policy" quoted informed sources "that the Director of the National Security Council at the White House Ezra Cohen Watnik, and adviser to the National Security Council specialist on Middle East affairs Derek Harvey, insisting on the need to expand the US military action in Syria and the implementation of operations in the south, in while Defense Minister James Mattis rejected more than once were proposed.
