The court stated in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News, that it “issued its decision No. (86 / Federal / 2024) containing the ruling on the invalidity of paragraph (2) of the House of Representatives decision taken in the second session on 1/27/2024, which included postponing the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives until Deciding on cases pending before the judiciary.
Yesterday, Monday, the coordination framework gave the Sunni blocs in the Iraqi Council of Representatives one week to resolve the issue of electing a president for the Council.
