    , Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received an official invitation to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan next October.
    Yesterday, Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Naseer Mammadov, and during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to develop them, and strengthening the prospects for joint cooperation in many economic and cultural fields, and in the field of energy and investment, according to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office.
    The meeting witnessed the delivery of an official invitation to the Prime Minister from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, to participate in the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
    The meeting also touched on the situation in the region, the continuation of the Zionist occupation forces’ brutal aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza, and the importance of the international community and major powers bearing responsibility for stopping this aggression and preserving the lives of civilians.
    The Prime Minister also received the European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Thomas Seiler, and during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and the European Union, and the importance of directing efforts towards more cooperation and concluding fruitful economic partnerships with the countries of the Union.
    The possibility of enhancing cooperation in the field of civil aviation and the measures taken were also discussed. In order to resume Iraqi aviation in European airspace, the meeting also witnessed discussion of cooperation with the European Investment, Development and Reconstruction Banks. To enhance expertise and support private sector development projects in Iraq.
    The meeting discussed the tragic conditions in Gaza, the aggressive policies and crimes committed by the occupation forces against innocent civilians, and stressed the need to stop the aggression and deliver aid to the Palestinians.
    On the other hand, Al-Sudani chaired the first meeting of the Supreme Committee for Restructuring the Government Apparatus.
    A statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office stated that during the meeting, the papers on the agenda were discussed, and an emphasis was placed on proceeding with the reforms undertaken by the government in the administrative, financial, and economic aspects in parallel, which were among the most important priorities of the government program.
    The statement indicated that the meeting determined the vision according to which the government will embark on its mission to reform the government apparatus, the work stages of the reform process, the study of seeking the help of an international company specialized in this field, as well as the emphasis on forming a small team to study the papers that will be discussed at the next meeting, and the continuation of special meetings. In this regard.
    In addition, under the auspices of the Prime Minister, yesterday, Monday, a signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation took place between the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) and the Japan International Cooperation Corporation (JICA).
    The memorandum includes the Japanese institution financing projects for the Iraqi private sector, and in light of the memorandum, an initial amount of $200 million will be provided to finance important projects that provide a service to the Iraqi citizen and economy, and will contribute to reducing foreign imports, as well as reducing hard currency transfers
