Kamel Al-Ugaili, head of the Qaddoun parliamentary bloc, on Tuesday suggested extending the legislative term of the House of Representatives in order to approve the federal budget law for 2024, pointing out that extending the legislative term requires a vote from Parliament.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Ugaili said in an interview, “The House of Representatives will vote on Thursday to extend the legislative term for one month until the budget schedules are approved.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, “The first legislative term of the third legislative year will end next May 9, after which Parliament will extend its legislative recess until June 9.”[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that “extending the legislative term requires Parliament to vote with a full quorum while continuing to pass important laws.” Ended / 25 h[/size]
