    Shafaq News/ The President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, expressed on Tuesday the region’s desire to address all problems with Iran and launch a new phase of relations between the two sides.
    President Nechirvan Barzani said in a press conference held in Tehran, which he is currently visiting, that “this visit is the beginning of a new phase of relations between Iran and the Kurdistan Region,” expressing his thanks for the warm reception by Iranian Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the President of the Republic, Ibrahim Raisi, and the Speaker of Parliament. Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf and other officials.
    He added, "For us in the Kurdistan Region, relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are very important," describing those relations as "historic because there are many commonalities between the two sides since the founding of the Islamic Republic until now."
    The president of the region said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been supportive and supportive of us in difficult stages,” adding that “there are undoubtedly some problems.”
    I go on to say, “But what is important is that we make efforts to solve them, and we have a serious will in this regard through the visit we made to Iran to address these problems existing between us, and we want to establish the best relations with this important neighbor,” stressing that “there is a serious will to overcome these matters.” Which creates disagreements between us.”
    He went on to say that the Kurdistan Region wants to remain a factor in establishing stability and security in the region, and this policy is deeply rooted in the region, and we will continue with it.
