New clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces leave 22 wounded

    Date of release: 2017/7/20

(Al-Furat News) New clashes broke out between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at the Lion Gate near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on Thursday night.
An Israeli newspaper reported that "22 people were wounded when the Israeli police dispersed hundreds of demonstrators, many of whom threw stones at Israeli forces after the firing of dozens of tear gas on them."
"Two of the wounded were in serious condition after being shot in the chest," the Palestinian Red Crescent said.
The Israeli Minister of Public Security, Gilad Arad, said in a press statement that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will probably discuss" change the decision "on the status of electronic gates at the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque."
