BAGHDAD / A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary Najeeb Najib on Saturday revealed the total funds added to the supplementary budget for the year 2017 amounting to 7 trillion dinars, while noting that this amount is verified by the revenues of oil and other doors, she explained that the priorities of the supplementary budget is Payment of dues to contractors and farmers.

Najib told "Iraq News" that "the supplementary budget for 2017, which was read first and second and is now waiting for ratification, amounted to 7 trillion Iraqi dinars, 3.5 trillion of oil revenues and the remaining 3.5 was to modify some of the original budget doors," stressing that "One of the priorities of the supplementary budget is to pay the dues of contractors and peasants."

On the allocation of part of the supplementary budget for the reconstruction of liberated areas, said Najib, "This paragraph is mainly in the original budget, which is within the terms of the International Monetary Fund, as well as the original budget included the German grant of 500 million dollars, to reconstruct the liberated areas," adding that " The recommendations of the International Monetary Fund in the supplementary budget is to pay the benefits of contractors and farmers.
