New Delhi/ Iraqi foreign minister Ibrahim al-Jaffari disclosed that Baghdad government has no information on the destiny on 39 Indian workers vanished at the outskirts of Mosul city in June, 2014.

Hindustan Times quoted al-Jaffari that he does not know whether the Indians are still alive or not, stressing that Baghdad government will exert effort to search for them.

Al-Jaffari arrived here in an official visit.

The paper expected that the topic of the lost Indians shall be on the agenda of talks between the two sides.

Earlier Indian reports said that the lost Indians were among the detainees in Badoush Prison, near Mosul city, where many of the prisoners met their fate by Da'ish (ISIS) organization.

The only surviving Indian, out of 40, reported that the kidnapped were executed in the desert in 15 June, 2014, but the Indian government did not believe this story.
