(Baghdad: al-Furat News) revealed a deputy for the National Alliance, a Turkish promise to Iraq, "pointing to" close visits to the capital Baghdad. "
"Iraq has recently witnessed a succession of visits by officials from Arab and regional countries after the Iraqi government was able to defeat a supporter," Jassem Mohammad Jafar told AFP.
He also noted the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gaooshoglu to Baghdad today, noting that "Oglu carried with him a high program of his country includes projects to open all the economic and service potential, reconstruction and construction with Iraq. He also promised to resolve all crises with Iraq, including the withdrawal of Turkish troops from Baasheqa."
Jaafar said that "Iraq will witness in the next few days many visits from Arab and regional countries to develop relations," pointing out that "all those who came to Iraq did not carry any political deals, but carried with them economic deals."
He stressed that "Iraq has become a pivotal influential countries and all countries want good relations with him," noting that "Iraq's political position has contributed greatly to bring the views with the Arab and regional environment."
Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu visited the capital Baghdad on Wednesday and said during a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari that the Turkish forces at the Bahesheqa camp near Mosul "were not made to violate the territorial integrity of Iraq and threaten its sovereignty." Trade between Turkey and Iraq and we must take advantage of existing possibilities and mechanisms and work to increase visits between officials of the two countries. "
He visited Oglu yesterday evening Arbil and met with the President of the Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani and informed him Turkey's rejection of the referendum of the region independence and stresses the unity of Iraq.
In recent weeks, Iraq has seen visits to Arab and foreign officials and ministers, most recently the visit of US Defense Secretary James Matisse and Saudi Trade Minister Majid al-Kasabi.
These visits coincide with successive Iraqi victories over the past and the latest rapid progress in the liberation of Tal Afar, the last stronghold in the province of Nineveh.
