    The Iranian ambassador to Iraq confirmed that his country views with interest the visit of President Masoud Barzani to Baghdad, while the Turkish ambassador announced that his country supports resolving Iraqi political disputes through dialogue and understanding.[/size]
    [size=45]President Masoud Barzani received today, Thursday (July 4, 2024) in Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, opinions and viewpoints were exchanged on the political situation in Iraq and the region. President Barzani also spoke about the goals and reasons for his visit to Baghdad, according to a statement issued by President Barzani's headquarters.[/size]
    [size=45]In turn, the Iranian ambassador to Iraq stressed during the meeting that his country views President Barzani's visit to Baghdad with interest, expressing its support for the visit. He also expressed his hope that the visit will yield positive results and that the agreements concluded between the Iraqi parties will be implemented. Bilateral relations were also another focus of the meeting. On the other hand, President Masoud Barzani received Anil Bora Inan, the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, in Baghdad today, Thursday (July 4, 2024).

    During the meeting, the latest developments and political conditions in Iraq were discussed. President Barzani also explained the reasons and objectives of his visit to Baghdad, indicating that a positive atmosphere prevails in the political process in Iraq and can be a suitable and appropriate ground for settling differences and problems.[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, the Turkish ambassador to Iraq announced during the meeting his country's support for resolving Iraqi political conflicts through dialogue and understanding and not marginalizing any component.[/size]
    [size=45]The economic and political relations between federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with Turkey were other topics of the meeting. Yesterday morning, Wednesday (July 3, 2024), President Masoud Barzani’s plane landed at Baghdad Airport, where he was received by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Minister of Planning Mohammed Tamimi, Minister of Defense Thabet Al-Abbasi, Minister of Labor Ahmed Al-Asadi, Minister of Construction and Housing Benkin Rikani, and other leaders and officials.[/size]
    [size=45]On the first day of his visit, he met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Chief Justice Faiq Zidan, and other leaders of political forces and officials, in addition to the ambassadors of Britain, Russia, China, France, and America.[/size]
