Trump: Striking North Korea is not the first choice

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that military action against North Korea was not a first option, saying he had strong and frank talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the issue.
"President Shi wants to do something," he told reporters at the White House. We'll see if he can do it.But we will not tolerate what is going on in North Korea ... I think President Shi agrees with me 100 percent ... We made a very loud and clear telephone call. "
