    The committee of deportees and displaced persons on Saturday called on the government to fulfill its promises to close the file of displaced persons during the current year, indicating that the survival of the displaced to next year will be a major challenge added to the budget of 2018.
     "The government must fulfill its promises to close the file of displaced persons in the liberated areas in full this year without any delay," said Raad al-Dahlaki, head of the committee.
     He added that "the financial allocations to the displaced are cut off from the salaries of employees and retirees in the public sector and the government can continue to cut their salaries for additional years under the pretext of the survival of the displaced."
     "The closure of the file of the displaced needs a strong political will and high-precision planning to implement all pledges," he said, noting that "not to close the file during the next year will make the government a major financial challenge can not be avoided only by cutting the salaries of employees and retirees." Ending / 25
