[ltr]Arab media revealed the arrival of Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Vidan, to the city of Erbil to stop the referendum to be held on the 25th of this month to separate the region.[/ltr]
[ltr]The visit of the Turkish official to Erbil at a time in the city of Arbil meetings of the Kurdish parties to discuss the latest developments of the referendum after the rejection of the House of Representatives to hold a referendum in the region.[/ltr]
[ltr]The sources did not give further details about the visit of the Turkish security official to the Kurdistan region of Iraq, with the approach of the referendum, as Turkey has announced on the lips of senior officials categorical rejection of this step.[/ltr]
[ltr]On the same level, Turkish activists on social networking sites confirmed the presence of intelligence chief Hakan Fidan on Tuesday in the city of Erbil on a special mission to dissuade Kurdish officials from holding the referendum.[/ltr]
[ltr]The sources said that at a time of increasing pressure on the provincial government by the United States and Iran and Baghdad, Turkey has seen a rise to a tone described as "violent" in denouncing this referendum, by calling for the use of power sites owned by Ankara to stop it, The most important of which is the oil pipeline and the "Khabur" border crossing[/ltr]
