Service campaign in Karbala
16/9/2017 12:00 am [rtl]The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works carried out a major campaign for the maintenance of sewerage stations and networks in the holy city of Karbala in preparation for the next rainy season. The media center in the ministry said in a statement received by "Sabah" that its directorate carried out a large campaign to maintain and rehabilitate sewage stations, transmission lines and networks in a number of districts of Karbala governorate in preparation for the rainy season. He pointed out that the campaign included rehabilitation of plants and treatment of erosion, dismantling of bottlenecks in sewage and rain water networks, changing manhole covers and compensating damaged ones, noting that it included the old city center between the two holy mosques, the eastern Abbasid and the republican street as well as the Abbas street, Bab el-Khan and Bab al- Al-Husseini, Sidra Street, Bab Al-Baghdadi and nearby areas.
