    The governor of the Central Bank Ali al-Alak, on Sunday, to the United States of America to participate in meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
    "A delegation led by Central Bank Governor Ali Al-Alak heads to the United States to participate in IMF and World Bank meetings this week," the bank said in a statement.
    The statement added that "it is hoped that the meeting on the sidelines of the meetings a number of central bank governors headed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Holland and the Governor of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia."
    "There will be a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Monetary Fund in addition to meetings with a delegation from the Treasury and the State Department and many economic and financial figures." Ending / 25 g

    Would be nice to have price tag and results defined before we made things better ?

     taking wealth - than redistributing it to my committe of one - seems like a slippery slope for me

    Not to beleger the point but, judgement has been made when you/me take a stand on any issue. That said I will make one last comment on you asking me if we are owed and etc. etc. To my knowledge we haven't submitted a bill for anything. But your question about  judging who made things better by our being involved and getting an estimate for our actions is an interesting one.
    Then taking wealth and redistributing it was another one. 

    I obviously don't know if you supported the war or who you voted for...but your comments don't appear to be in line with me or many people on the right. That said, I have never heard of any war that was began or ended determined by a price tag. Taking wealth and redistributing it...this is one that has me confused...if you are thinking that my intention of giving gifts to anyone as long as it was attained legally is a slippery slope is outrageous. My money purchased the Dinar and it will still be my money to do with as I choose. On the other hand I have a real problem with the government taking my money and 'redistributing' it as they see fit...usually for Votes. They didn't earn it I did. I suspect you don't agree with that thought, because you specified a 'committe' of one. Maybe would be OK if it was collective like...the government?

    We don't agree, but I wish you well...

    Yes. I was telling some of my relatives and friends like "you have to do this asap because they could revalue anytime." But hey those who kept their dinar at some point will be happy that they did.

    Annie, Early & Zimi!  We have all been here for a very long time, and yes opinions vary drastically! I understand ALL points made in the latter part of this thread, and yes opinions flow freely here.  No one is to be judged, no is to be attacked for what they feel or think.  What makes me proud to still be a part of this forum is that we can discuss these things without ripping each others head off.  A prayer for the dinar can mean many things to many people, and this is to be respected by all. This is and has always been a place where we can come together and learn about something that we are so passionate about.  Remember, money is not the root to all evil, it's what is done with it that creates the evil.  I for one have lived a great life and I plan to pass on as much happiness to other before I'm called from this world.  So thank you to those on both sides of this thing...can hardly wait to see the other side of it all.
