    Diyala governor Muthanna al-Tamimi announced Sunday that the border port with Iran would open to Iranian visitors on Monday after the deployment of the force to secure the visitors' road.
    "A meeting was held at Diyala Diyala office with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the joint coordination committee to visit the 40 members of the team Mohammed Badr, the presence of the military attache in the Iranian embassy in Baghdad Mustafa Mradyan, and security leaders in the province," Tamimi said in a statement.
    "The meeting discussed the security challenges and the intelligence effort facing the visitors and securing the path of visitors coming from Diyala and leading to Baghdad," the statement said.
    He added that "it was agreed to enter the visitors in the form of regular payments to fit with the capabilities of the security and administrative aspects, and the entry of visitors of pedestrians (a walker and a foot) and be transported through the wheels allocated to them."
    The governor of Diyala said on Sunday that "the force assigned to secure the visitors' road from the port of al-Manziriyah to the administrative border of Baghdad will be set up next Monday to hold a meeting of the security committee in Diyala province to issue a decision to open the entrance to the visitors."
