A storm of arrests and arrests sweeps the kingdom of Saud on charges of corruption and money laundering

Saudi Arabia has stormed a political storm that led to the arrests of senior members of the royal family in the kingdom on the orders of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the most prominent of whom were Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and Prince Meteb bin Abdullah.
"Immediately after the orders of Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud to form a committee headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on issues of corruption in public funds, Saudi forces launched a campaign of arrests involving prominent members of the ruling family," a source said.
"The most prominent detainees are the Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal on charges of money laundering, as well as the arrest of Prince Meteb bin Abdullah (son of the former king) on charges of corruption in arms deals an hour after he was sacked as minister of national guard," he said.
He added that "the campaign included the arrest of Saudi Prince Walid Al-Ibrahim owner of the mbc channels on corruption charges and the suspension of former Royal Court Chief Khalid Al-Tuwaijri on charges of corruption and abuse of bribery Minister of Economy and Planning Adel Fakih on charges of corruption and accepting bribes after his dismissal this evening
On Saturday evening, the Saudi monarch issued a royal decree forming a committee headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on issues of corruption in public money.
