Nusayif calls Nijaifi not to procrastinate investigating Industry Minister

[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, not to procrastinate investigating the Industry Minister at the parliament.[/ltr]
[ltr]She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Unfortunately, Nijaifi rejected the request of investigating the Industry Minister that was signed by dozens of the MPs, claiming that the request lacks the evidences and documents of the questions related to the investigation process.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“This is not mentioned within the internal system of the parliament where many of the investigation requests did not involve such documents and the internal system states that the evidence and document are the questions raised by the investigating side and not conditioned to be presented during the investigation,” she added.[/ltr]
[ltr]“Procrastination of the investigations under unjustified claims will negatively affect the observatory role of the parliament,” she pointed out, calling Nijaifi “To activated he observatory role of the Legislative Authority and not to procrastinate investigating the ministers.”[/ltr]
