    Oil Minister Jabbar Ali al-Allaibi said that Iraq has promising investment opportunities in the oil and energy sector, pointing out that his ministry invited international companies to invest in the sectors of liquidation, extraction, drilling and infrastructure projects. 

    Al-Luaibi "met a number of ministers and directors of international companies on the sidelines of his participation in the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi and discussed with them ways to strengthen relations and investment cooperation in the oil and energy sector," the ministry said in a press release. 

    She added that Al-Allaibi "delivered a speech during his participation in the work and discussions of the conference pointed out that the government and the ministry are keen to provide an environment suitable for the work of Arab and international companies and to achieve common goals."

    Al-Luaibi said during his speech that the ministry called on international companies to invest in the sectors of liquidation, extraction, drilling and infrastructure projects, and strengthen partnership and cooperation with national companies to achieve common goals and contribute to revitalizing the wheel of development and the national economy. 

    The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC) is a global event attended by oil ministers and oil and gas professionals around the world under one umbrella. The exhibition is one of the top three exhibitions in the world's oil and gas sector, the largest in the Middle East and North Africa Africa, through which the exchange of experiences that will enable experts and specialists in the global oil sector to exchange information and ideas that contribute to shaping the future of the energy sector in the world, and is held with the support of the United States Department of Energy.
