Central Bank issues bonds worth 43 million dinars
The Central Bank said in a statement that it issued on behalf of the Government of Bahrain, the 199th version of its kind, which will start on 22 November and for a period of approximately 3 months ending on 21 February 2018 .
The central bank set the rate of interest on these permissions at 2.72%, compared to the interest rate on the previous issue on November 18, 2.60%.
The statement pointed out that the issue was covered at 100%.
In mid-December , the central bank decided to raise key interest rates by 25 basis points, raise its one-month deposit rate to 1.55 percent and increase it by 25 basis points .

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that a new issue of Islamic government Sukuk Al Salam has been oversubscribed by 43 million dinars.The Central Bank said in a statement that it issued on behalf of the Government of Bahrain, the 199th version of its kind, which will start on 22 November and for a period of approximately 3 months ending on 21 February 2018 .
