Federal Reserve Chairman William Dudley told a conference on Wednesday that the US central bank was considering the idea of issuing its own currency, according to the Dow Jones report.

The report said the new product would appear in the future, and it was too early to say when the Fed would introduce its own currency.

That trend comes despite the fact that Dudley says he sees the largest currencies by market value as "other speculative activities, not a stable stock of value."

By 6:21 pm GMT, the currency of the "Bitquin" cut its gains, increasing by about 7.8% at $ 10862, after hitting a record high of 11,300 dollars earlier in the trading.
