Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq discussed with Kuwaiti Ambassador in Iraq Salem Ghassab the preparatory and organizational matters related to the Kuwait Conference for the Reconstruction and Development of Iraq, scheduled for next February.
He also reiterated the importance of Kuwait's hosting of the conference on its soil in order to contribute to the common reconciliation of the two countries, support Iraq in restoring the damaged cities and areas, and remove the effects of sabotage and destruction caused by the terrorist.
He pointed out the importance of ending all working papers that will be presented at the forthcoming conference.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador pledged to follow up the final organizational and technical remarks of the conference, stressing the continuation of his government to support the Iraqi government and people, especially in the stage of rebuilding and rebuilding Iraq in the next stage.
