Al-Enezi called on international companies to invest in Babylon, especially that the province has attractive properties, including its geographical location and possession of a large industrial base and fertile agricultural land, as well as other attractive features. He added that the Chinese company "CGOC Hansom" made a bid to set up a ceramics and glass factory in the province. The investment opportunities in the province were reviewed by a delegation from the company in the industrial field, including industrial cities in Shitiya, Abu Akkar and Abu Smeij . He noted that the province is the center of industry nationwide by the presence of a large industrial base in which the opportunities for investment companies are significant in this area.
