Minister of Trade: Studies Center is a turning point that serves the Iraqi economy

Minister of Trade Athir Al-Ghariri considered the Center for Strategic Studies and Trade Policies a "turning point" in obtaining data that serves the Iraqi economy and decision-makers.
The minister said, according to a statement received by Al-Sabah: “We aspire for the center to be a powerful tool for providing analyses and recommendations on improving trade policies, supporting the private sector, diversifying sources of national income, enhancing local and international trade, and improving the business environment.”
During his meeting with a group of experts and academics, Minister Al-Ghariri reviewed the ministry’s procedures in organizing and directing work within the ministry’s tasks and law in formulating foreign and domestic trade policy through several steps, including organizing the work of trade attachés, preparing economic studies, issuing a guide to the commodity structure of exports and imports for the first time in Iraq, export guides, directing the method of supporting exporters and exports, and other procedures that served the Iraqi economy.
