[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The International Development Bank revealed the circumstances of today's incident, Monday, in front of its main building in Baghdad, stressing the continuation of all its activities and events.
The bank's management said in a press statement, "We were surprised today by an attempt by an unknown group, who are not customers of the bank, to create a problem with the guards assigned to protect the bank, the purpose of which was to stir up strife and confusion, defame the reputation and blackmail, and spread malicious rumors to be used through social media against the bank," noting that "this is not the first time we have been exposed to such attacks."
It added, "All legal measures have been taken against them through the fair Iraqi judiciary, and all measures and procedures have been taken," indicating that "work in the bank and all its branches continues with all its activities and events normally."
It vowed to take legal measures against anyone who distorts the image of the bank and misleads public opinion. / End 5[/rtl]
