Independent: 75% of the victims of the International Coalition signed during the Trump presidency

    Translated by Hamid Ahmed

According to new statistics, more than three-quarters of the civilians killed during the war on Iraq and Syria have been raised during the administration of US President Donald Trump.
According to US Army Special Numbers, approximately 831 civilians were killed unintentionally during that period.
On January 2, 2017, only a few weeks before Trump took office, the Joint Operations Command announced that "it is very likely that the number of civilians who have been unintentionally killed by coalition raids since the start of the campaign in 2014 will not exceed 188 civilians at least".
But that figure has doubled dramatically over the past 12 months since President Trump took office.
"Although the coalition takes exceptional efforts to strike military targets in a way that reduces the risk of civilian casualties, in some cases civilian casualties are unavoidable," the coalition leadership said in its latest report.
However, there is an inaccurate side in calculating civilian deaths during the war. There have been criticism from several experts that the coalition has overlooked many numbers not included in the total number of civilian casualties, and that the coalition has not begun to issue the monthly toll of civilian deaths until March 2017.
The war victims organization Airwars, the British non-governmental organization That the number of victims approaching 6047 civilian dead since the start of the campaign in 2014.
The Foundation also said that the number of air raids, mostly carried out by US aircraft, has increased by nearly 50% in Iraq and Syria during the year 2017 compared to the year before.
The Guardian reported a 215% increase in civilian deaths.
In mid-April 2017, President Trump announced that his US military generals had absolute powers to make complex decisions on the ground on the battlefields, which alarmed national security experts who felt the loss of civilian safety in military operations that would expose civilians stranded in Iraq. Areas of combat are endangered.
"We have the best army in the world and they have achieved the goals as usual, we have given them absolute powers and that's what they are doing now, which indicates their recent achievements," Trump said.
"We have not changed our military plans, we are doing our utmost to protect civilians," US Defense Secretary James Mattes said, commenting on the matter. "By giving us the authorization for the lower ranks, Best".
