    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced on Monday coordination with the World Economic Forum to hold a mini-Davos conference in Iraq, stressing the seriousness of the government and its ongoing work in the economic reform of the country.
    "The meeting discussed with the ambassadors of the G7, the European Union ambassador, the representative of the World Bank and the representative of the United Nations Development Program," said a statement from the Prime Minister's Office. And to support Iraq in all fields and to stress that Iraq is taking correct steps in the field of reform and development of its capabilities.
    Abadi stressed "the seriousness of the government and its ongoing work in the economic reform of the country," noting that "Iraq is currently working with the World Economic Forum to coordinate a mini-Davos conference in Iraq."
    He stressed the importance of accelerating the steps to stimulate the economy and create jobs and raise all obstacles to investment after the victory and the need to pay attention to meet the needs of all areas of Iraq.
    For their part, the ambassadors of the major industrialized countries, the European Union and the World Bank representative expressed their "great support for the economic reform in Iraq and their serious participation in the Kuwait Conference." They reiterated their continued support for the economic reform program and their strong stand with Iraq as they fight the construction and reconstruction battle and welcome the steps taken by the Iraqi government In attracting international expertise and companies in various sectors. "
    The representative of the World Bank, "the completion of the Bank's special report in the analysis of reconstruction needs to be launched at the Kuwait Conference."
    While the representative of the United Nations Development Program, to "extend its work in the restoration of stability to 2018," noting that "will launch the fast track system of reconstruction projects at the Kuwait Conference."
