US businessman: "Falling stock markets next will be the worst ever"

The 75-year-old chief executive of Rogers Holding & Bailent Intrest, told Bloomberg news agency on Friday that it was not surprising that the sell-off did not stop after the US stock market closed on Tuesday.
US stocks were sharply lower at the end of yesterday's session as the Dow Jones Industrial Average recorded its second worst-ever session, falling to 23,860.5 points.
Rogers said he did not know the timing of the stock market crash and did not expect it to start now. "But the global economy has seen more debt build-up since the global crisis, especially in US markets."
He expected the stock markets to see more tension until the Federal Reserve moves to raise interest rates.
