    [rtl]Denied Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, his intervention in the work of the judiciary, while called for the media to be accurate and the transfer of information from its official sources.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"Some media outlets have circulated a document addressed to the vice president asking him not to intervene in a case before the courts concerning the citizen in the name of Khazal al-Khashan," Maliki's office said in a press release.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added that "in order to clarify the facts of our people and the family of Barakat and our people, Nuri al-Maliki did not receive any request in this regard," noting that "Maliki respects the independence of the judiciary and rejects the principle of interference in its affairs, and everything that is issued otherwise is incorrect."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Office called on the media to "be precise and to obtain information from their official sources".[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]It is noteworthy that a number of media and social networking sites reported that the Vice President Nuri al-Maliki received a request from the Al-Barakat tribe asking him not to interfere in the work of the judiciary in the case of a citizen .[/rtl]
