    [ltr]French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Laudrian said Tuesday that his country would stand firmly with Iraq while stressing the need for judicial guarantees for companies.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Iraq's reconstruction process is a huge and difficult process," Ludran said in a speech at the Iraq Investment Conference in Kuwait. "He is optimistic about Iraq's ability to improve its position because of its enormous financial and human capabilities and potential."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement added that "Iraq can stand on its feet when achieving national reconciliation," noting that "the reconstruction process takes into account the social and humanitarian side in Iraq."[/ltr]
    [ltr]"France will meet all the required commitments by standing with Iraq, in addition to providing soft loans and exceptional loans, and will contribute to supporting infrastructure, especially in the field of energy and water," he said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He pointed out that "after the provision of emergency humanitarian assistance and stability in Iraq must rely on the diversified economy through the private sector, noting that the French companies are actively involved with a number of investors in a number of areas hoping to produce good relations."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He stressed that "investors need solid financial guarantees in the judicial, environmental and practical," expressing his "belief that signals from the Iraqi government positive."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The head of the Reconstruction Fund for the affected areas, Mustafa al-Hiti, on Tuesday, the proportion of the completed reconstruction operations in Iraq after its liberation, stressing that it does not exceed 1%.[/ltr]
