The Iraqi-Saudi Ministerial Coordination Council held a meeting in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to discuss the latest measures on cooperation in many economic, investment, cultural and other sectors.
"The agreement with the Red Crescent on the grant of 20 million dollars from Saudi Arabia to the relief organizations, with the aim of supervising its distribution among the local relief organizations," the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak said.
The meeting was "a review of the ministerial committees on recent developments in the coordination process in the areas of trade, economy, agriculture, water resources, health, culture, transport, youth, sports and education".
The Secretary-General pointed out the existence of 16 memorandums of understanding on which the Iraqi government is working with the Saudi side, and four of them have been signed by the two parties so far, stressing that the other memoranda will be completed within a short time. "
