    [ltr]The Iraqi Economic Council, on Saturday, held a consultative meeting with the delegation of Saudi companies participating in the events of the Baghdad International Fair at its 44th session at the Babylon Hotel.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The meeting was attended by the adviser of the Prime Minister Walid al-Halli," the council said in a statement. "A meeting was held with the Saudi companies participating in the 44th session of the Baghdad International Fair in Babel Hotel, Deputy Director General of the National Investment Authority Ikram Al-Yasiri, Director General of the National Investment Authority Ikram Abdul Aziz, Head of Civil Aviation Authority Hussein Mohsen, Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General manager and registration department Companies - Ministry of Commerce Abdul Aziz Jabbar Abdul Aziz.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement added that "the meeting was also attended by more than 70 people from the Saudi delegation guest, representatives of the 59 Saudi company, also attended by the Iraqi Economic Council, the President of the Council and a member of the Board of Directors and the Secretary of Finance, and a number of members of the Council," noting the " Guests are also private. "[/ltr]
    [ltr]"There is a historical saying that Iraq is the skull of the Arabs," said Ibrahim al-Baghdadi al-Masoudi, head of the Iraqi economic council. He called for "building long-term strategic economic relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia."[/ltr]
    [ltr]For his part, Deputy Saudi Ambassador Meshaal Mtaib al-Otaibi expressed his "love and the Saudi delegation accompanying Baghdad, Arabism, poets, scientists, artists and clergymen." He expressed his "happiness at the rapprochement between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, which has tribal and family extensions."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The adviser to the Prime Minister Walid al-Hali, "the program of Prime Minister Haider Abadi open Arab, regional and international," asserting that "Abadi could unite all Iraqi political entities in the defeat of the law and the law and re-control of the federal government at all border crossings with neighboring countries and Peaceful".[/ltr]
