    Starting the preparatory meeting of senior officials of the Arab Summit - African in Kuwait with the participation of Iraq

    Launched the preparatory meeting of senior officials of the third Arab-African Summit to be hosted by Kuwait on the 19th and 20th of this month under the banner of the partners in the development and investment with the participation of several Arab and African countries, including Iraq.



    Iraq participates in the preparatory meetings and the summit, such as Iraq in today's meeting, Ambassador Mohammed Bahr al-Ulum Iraq's ambassador to the State of Kuwait and Ambassador Qais al-Azzawi, the representative of Iraq to the Arab League.



    And include the opening session of the two-day meeting of the word head of delegation to Libya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Razak Libyan Alqrede as head of the Second Arab-African Summit and the word representative of the Republic of Gabon as co-chair for the second summit.



    And will then hand over the presidency of the meeting the representative of Kuwait, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah as Chairman of the summit third where will deliver a speech followed by the word Chairperson of the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the African Union and the word representative of the League of Arab States and the word representative of the African Union Commission and then begin a session closed.



    The agenda of the meeting discussed the draft resolutions and declaration of Kuwait and the report of the Joint activities to Risah the African Union Commission and the Secretary General of the League of Arab States and the measures proposed to strengthen the institutional capacity to implement the Arab-African Action Plan 2011/2016.



    The meeting also looking rationalize the implementation and follow-up mechanisms Arab-African partnership to the report of the second meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture and Food Security Africans and Arabs held in Riyadh in October last year.



    The officials discussed a report on the performance of the Afro-Arab Cultural Institute as well as discuss the establishment of a mechanism to finance Arab African projects and activities common Arab African.



    The meeting also looking findings and recommendations of the African-Arab Economic Forum, which was held as part of preparations for the Arab-African summit ahead and concluded in Kuwait, the first on Tuesday. Ended.
