The Cabinet voted on Tuesday, during a meeting chaired by President Haider Al-Abadi, on several draft resolutions including the draft cooperation in the field of finance and insurance with the Chinese side, in addition to voting on the system of missions and fellowships.
"The cabinet held its regular session under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, and the draft of the cooperation project in the field of finance and insurance with the Chinese government side was voted upon," the statement said.
The statement pointed out that "the Council voted on the system of missions and fellowships and financial assistance, in addition to the registration of diplomatic vehicles."
He added that "the Council voted on the draft law to repeal Law No. 127 of 1981 the ratification of the Arab Labor Convention No. 10 of 1979 on paid study leave and the Arab Recommendation No. 3 of 1979 attached thereto."
"The draft law on ratification of the basic cooperation agreement between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (undp) was voted on," the statement said.
The statement pointed out that "the Council of Ministers, during its meeting on the report on the launch of reconstruction activities, either through the plan of action in the restoration of stability or through the data of the Kuwait Conference," explaining that "a report was presented on the completion of the program to destroy chemical weapons in Iraq."
