    The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced on Monday its success in eliminating cases of corruption and waste of money in the file of the scorpion.

    He added that "this decision is one of the concrete and important results of the reform plan adopted by the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohamed Shiaa Sudanese to reduce the cases of corruption, extortion and bribery, which plagued the sale and transfer of scorpion and especially in the General Company for Engineering Bonds at the time and through groups of armed gangs and window in the company mentioned Unfortunately, the position of the ministry at the time was watching this waste and corruption. "
    He added that "the issuance of this decision came at his request and the direct intervention of the Minister," pointing out at the same time that "the file sale and transfer of scorpions occupied a large part of the concerns and communications of the Ministry of Industry over the past period and the formation of specialized committees to follow up and take legal action by including two general managers (21) billion dinars for the value of damage resulting from the loss of iron scrap quantity (77398) tons at the site of Tel Tasah in Tarmiyah. "
    He pointed out that "the investigations are still ongoing and presented the file of the scorpion in full to the Council of Ministers, which in turn took the decision to launch the sale of the scorpion and close the file of corruption and cases of manipulation and irregularities that surrounded this file," noting that "scorpion is currently sold to civil laboratories while the scorpion is transferred to the Ministry Industry and minerals to the assembly sites approved by the companies of the Ministry for the purpose of benefiting later in the production processes after the operation of iron and steel factories in Basra in the fourth quarter of this year.
