The Electoral Commission imposed on Tuesday a fine of 5 million dinars on political entities that violate the laws of the election campaign.

A member of the Board of Commissioners in the Commission Hazem Ridini, "The Commission issued sanctions against political entities and candidates in violation of the electoral campaign laws," pointing out that "these began the election campaign ahead of schedule."

He added that "the Electoral Commission imposed a fine of five million dinars against 10 political entities and two million dinars against dozens of candidates who did not comply with the controls and instructions issued by the Commission."

Al-Rudaini pointed out that "putting pictures of electoral lists and candidates on state institutions and departments is contrary to the law and sanctions will be taken against violators and fined."
