"We deny rumors that the party's secretary-general was excluded from the elections by the Independent Electoral Commission," the party said in a press release.
He stressed that "the Iraqi people will not be affected by rumors and attempts to mislead that are raised around the civil party and its candidates, which comes as a reaction to the disappointment of the great success achieved by the civil party and the acceptability of his electoral and political project."
