    Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri, on Monday, the results of a meeting of leaders of the National Coalition in the presence of Iyad Allawi and Saleh al-Mutlaq, calling for the formation of new wisdom as soon as possible.
     
    "The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in a press statement," Salim al-Jubouri attended a meeting of leaders of the National Coalition, which included both Vice President Iyad Allawi, and the head of the coalition of Arab Saleh al-Mutlaq with a number of candidates winning in the 2018 parliamentary elections. "
     
    The statement added that "the national leaders discussed during the meeting the latest political developments and the post-election and efforts to form the next government, also discussed the results of the recent legislative elections and the problems that accompanied the ballot and counting and sorting."
     
    During the meeting, Jabouri stressed "the importance of proper legal channels for all matters related to appeals or irregularities." He stressed the necessity of giving preference to the country's supreme interest, security and stability as a responsibility that falls on everyone without exception.
     
    According to the statement called the Speaker of the House of Representatives, "the political blocs to make all efforts and efforts to reach understandings and visions leading to the formation of the government as soon as possible," stressing that "the next government must meet the aspirations of the Iraqi street and be a university for all its diverse spectrum."
     
    The Electoral Commission announced on Saturday morning the final results of the legislative elections, topped the list of "Saron" with 54 seats, followed by the alliance, "Fatah" with 48 seats, and the coalition, "victory" with 42 seats, followed by the coalition, "State of Law" with 26 seats, The "Democratic Kurdistan" with 25 seats, while the coalition "national" 21 seats, and stream "wisdom" 20 seats, while the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan won 18 seats.
     
    The results of the elections showed the loss of "brilliant political names" in the Iraqi parliament over the past two parliamentary sessions, including Hanan al-Fatlawi, Salim al-Jibouri, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, Hammam Hamoudi, Khaled al-Asadi, Maysoun al-Damluji, Sadiq Al-Rikabi, Aziz Kazem Alwan, Mohammed Al-Lakash, Amer Al-Khuzaie, Rahim Al-Daraji, Jassem Mohammad Jaafar, Mishaan Al-Jubouri and Mohammed Al-Karbouli.
     
    In the legislative elections held on Saturday, 12 May 2018, 320 political parties, coalitions and electoral lists competed as follows: 88 electoral lists, 205 political entities and 27 electoral alliances, through 7,367 candidates, fewer than the number of candidates for the 2014 elections Which exceeded 9 thousand.
